124:1  If it was not Lord Jehovah who had stood for us, Israel shall say,
124:2  For if it was not Lord Jehovah who stood for us when the children of men stood up against us,
124:3  They would have swallowed us alive, and when their rage was provoked upon us,
124:4  The waters would have overwhelmed us; the stream would have passed over our soul.
124:5  And many waters passed over our soul!
124:6  Blessed is Lord Jehovah who has not given us as food for their teeth!
124:7  Our soul is like a sparrow escaped from a snare of prey; the snare was broken and we were delivered!
124:8  And our help is in The Name of Lord Jehovah, he who made Heaven and Earth!
