20:1  For the music director, a psalm of David.
20:2  May Adonai answer you in the day of trouble! May the Name of the God of Jacob set you up securely on high.
20:3  May He send you help from the Sanctuary and support you from Zion.
20:4  May He remember all your meal offerings and accept the fat of your burnt offering. Selah
20:5  May He grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans.
20:6  We will shout for joy in your victory and lift up our banners in the Name of our God! May Adonai fulfill all your petitions.
20:7  Now I know that Adonai saves His anointed. He answers him from His holy heaven with saving strength of His right hand.
20:8  Some have chariots, some have horses, but we remember the Name of Adonai our God.
20:9  They have collapsed and fallen, but we rise up and support each other.
20:10  Adonai, save the king! Answer us on the day we call!
