25:1  Of David. To You, Adonai, I lift up my soul.
25:2  O my God, in You I trust, so I will not be ashamed, and my enemies will not gloat over me.
25:3  Surely no one who waits for You will be ashamed. But the treacherous without cause will be ashamed.
25:4  Show me Your ways, Adonai. Teach me Your paths.
25:5  Guide me in Your truth, and teach me, for You are God, my salvation, for You I wait all day.
25:6  Remember, Adonai, Your compassions and Your mercies— for they are from eternity.
25:7  Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my rebellion. According to Your mercy remember me, for the sake of Your goodness, Adonai.
25:8  Good and upright is Adonai. Therefore He directs sinners in the way.
25:9  He guides the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble His way.
25:10  All Adonai’s ways are lovingkindness and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
25:11  For Your Name’s sake, Adonai, pardon my guilt, for it is great.
25:12  Who is this man who fears Adonai? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.
25:13  His soul abides in goodness, and his offspring will inherit the land.
25:14  The secret of Adonai is for those who fear Him. He makes His covenant known to them.
25:15  My eyes are always looking to Adonai, for He will pull my feet out of the net.
25:16  Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
25:17  The troubles of my heart increase. Bring me out of my distress.
25:18  See my affliction and my suffering, and take away all my sins.
25:19  See my enemies, how many they are— they hate me with violent hatred.
25:20  Guard my soul and deliver me. Let me not be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.
25:21  May integrity and uprightness protect me— for I wait for You.
25:22  Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles.
